The PLC-XU35
features a 200-watt UHP lamp that provides an outstandingly bright light
source, and three 0.9-inch polysilicon liquid crystal panels with built-in
microlens to enhance on-screen brightness. The result is the remarkably
high brightness level for a mobile projector of 2000lm.

The
3D AUCC circuit offers ten times the precision of earlier technology to
ensure a more natural-looking picture. |

 |
| *The PLC-SU30
and PLC-XU30 achieve brightness levels of 1700lm and 1400lm respectively. |

The aesthetically
pleasing form of these projectors gives you an edge before you even begin
your presentation. The magnesium alloy body is not only lightweight for
enhanced portability but is also easier to recycle. |
|
As well as Standard
mode, Cinema mode for movies and Real mode for graphics, there are four
user-settable gamma correction preset modes, so you can adjust gradation
to suit your preference and screen conditions. |
 |
|
|
 |
As well as the
1.3x optical zoom / focus, these projectors feature digital zoom capabilities
that allow you to enlarge a portion of the screen by up to 49 times (surface
ratio). You can also make the screen image smaller, with maximum compression
down to one-quarter size (surface ratio). The effective zoom ratio is approximately
5.2x, allowing you increased flexibility in setup.
|
|
Even if the
projector is above or below the projection screen, you can still enjoy a
correct, rectangular image thanks to Digital Keystone Correction. Just press
the button to adjust the picture (maximum 20-degree differential).

*Digital compression for RGB input only. Some picture information may be
lost in digital compression. |

Cooling fan
noise can be distracting during presentations. With these SANYO projectors,
sudden bursts of operating noise are eliminated by the Fan Operation Linear
Control System, which uses information relayed from a built-in thermo sensor to regulate
fan operation. Also, SANYO has revised the layout of the optical system,
bringing the heat exhaust grille to the front of the projector, away from your audience. |

You
can leave your computer in the office and still make effective presentations
thanks to the (optional) Media Card Imager.
Using the MCI unit utility software, you can convert your computer presentation
screen data to image data and download to a PC card.

|
Presentation Timer
One press of a button gives you a running clock on the display screen, so
you can keep track of time as you speak. This allows you to make the best
use of limited presentation time.
Freeze Function
At any time during your presentation, images may be paused and projected
as a still image. This is ideal if, for example, you do not want your audience
to see your next slide.
No Show Function
This function is ideal when you want your audience to focus their attention
on you rather than the screen. You can stop the projector from displaying
images temporarily. |

Despite
their compact size and light weight, these projectors have a full range
of inputs, taking them to the top of their class. The DVI-D port ensures high-definition
input from a computer. There is a USB port in addition to the serial port. And for superior
video projection, there is a component input for direct high-definition signal projection. |

SANYO's
Digital Realized Interpolation Technology (DRIT) ensures that the projected
image quality is high for input signals that differ from the original resolution
of the liquid crystal panels. For these projectors, DRIT ensures superior
projection from SXGA (1280 x 1024 dots) to VGA (640x480 dots). This suits
not only notebook computers but also desktop computers too.
